Confession

Sometimes I vacuum so I can't hear my kids whine.

Your floors must be really clean. ^_^ R isn't really a whiner, thankfully, but she misbehaves and throws fits like it's her job. I need a discipline vacuum.

Hahaha! I will have to keep that in mind for my future days as a mom...although after my blog post today, I'm reconsidering even having them at all!

I used to run the vacuum cleaner just to get our next to youngest to stop crying when she was a baby. She liked the noise. If I wasn't vacuuming I was running the dishwasher. It soothed her.

I had a neighbor over one day [who's house was filthy -she lived next door] and she saw the vacuum cleaner and said to me "Oh there it is. You vacuum WAY too much." I just looked at her and said "Well it beats the heck out of not vacuuming at all."

I used to do that when my kids were babies/toddlers. Now I put my ear buds in and say, "Mom has to listen to music while doing chores so I can't hear you if you talk to me." It seems....kinder that way.

Great Giveaway!I love it...Children are the familiar scent, heartbeat and movement of his mother reassured him. carrier allows your child to learn the heartbeat, scent and movement, allowing you to have your hands free. This means thatYou can take your child while you are walking the dog, go shopping at the supermarket, rake the lawn and walk your daily life. Your child will soon learn your scent and feel, and your child quickly calmed and comforted by your presence.
